Mason Rose at The Met Bar

The Met Bar was a nice bright bar very close the Hilton in Park Lane. At first we did some networking over drinks and then we were invited to choose a table so that the hoteliers could come and speak to each table with their presentations and we were served bowl food at the tables. I do prefer this format

Mason Rose represent boutique properties mainly in Europe but they are extending to worldwide properties such as Maia in Mahe in the Seychelles. Maia is a stunning property which we were lucky enough to see when we were there last year. Each villa  has its own pool and  personal butler to attend to every need. The rooms overlook one of the most beautiful bays in Mahe and even the world. the hotel has 5 chefs so the food is outstanding. We we invited for lunch there last year. The hotel also has beautiful gardens and an award winning spa experience . Maia also has its own helipad which is used for excursions

Another property that we have already seen is Puente Romano which has since undergone major refurbishment to the rooms and public areas. When we had our Travel Counsellors conference in Marbella four years ago we were lucky enough to stay in Puente Romano. Puente Romano is a well designed Andalucian style property, nicely spread out resort with its own village square and it is situated on Marbella’s lovely golden sand beach. It is within walking distsnce of Marbella and Puerto Banus

I have also visited their property in Paris and had lunch there last year. It is one of the few inner city hotels in Europe to have a large courtyard and an indoor pool. The rooms are spacious and bright and the spa has been fully refurbished. There is also a childrens’ club at this hotel

Villa Vita Parc in Portugal was also represented. This is another well established property. It  has a 2 star Michelin restaurant and a Wine Cellar and a unique feature of this property is its own yacht that can be booked for private excursions and sunset cruises

Mason Rose represents 8 beautiful properties in and around Dubrovnik including the iconic Excelsior built 1913 and has since hosted Royalty and many celebrities. They also represent Dubrocnik Palace, Villa Agave and Villa Orsula

In Greece Mason Rose represent four of the 25 Grecotel properties, two on the mainland and also on the islands of Crete and Mykonos

A few lucky winners on the night have fabulous weekends to look forward to in the properties that were represented
