Tea at The Langham

The Langham in London was the very first hoel to introduce the concept of afternoon tea and they have introduced this across their brand worldwide. They make their own special cocktail with Beefeater Gin and various spices and this was demonstrated to us during the afternoon.

There were many Travel Counsellors among the guests throughout the afternoon to enjoy afternoon tea and learn about Langham Hotels Worldwide. There were representatives from London, Boston and three in Hong Kong, The Langham, Langham Place and Eaton Smart

The Langham Hong Kong and Langham Place are in a great location in Kowloon in Tsim Sha Tsui by Ocean Terminal and the Star Ferry. The Langham is a very Classic Hotel and very similar to London. Langham Place is more contemporary

Tea at The Langham has a fun theme, Mad Hatters Tea Party with brightly coloured cups, sweets and lollipops and of course finger sandwiches, tea and scones

Langham London, unusually for a top 5* hotel has free wi-fi with restricted bandwidth which is a huge bonus. We had a tour of a few of the recently refurbished rooms. Major refurbishment began in 2008 and the number of rooms have been substantially reduced to make them larger and brighter.
